2025 Bar Leadership Institute Application

The submission deadline is May 31, 2025, by 5:00 p.m. Applicants will receive an electronic confirmation at the email address provided in their application.

Applicants will be notified of their selection status by July 31, 2025.

Active participation and attendance is vital to the success of the program. Participants are expected to attend all sessions. Exceptions to this policy must be approved on a case by case basis by the Bar Leadership Committee. Please discuss your application with your employer as participation in the program will require you to be absent from work on session days.

Please have one of these individuals write a letter of recommendation that speaks to your leadership skills, ability and potential. Applicants are responsible for ensuring their application is complete.

By submitting this application I acknowledge and agree that full participation in all scheduled events is expected if I am accepted in the program. I understand that failure to participate fully in the program may result in dismissal from the program. I am also aware that upon completion of the program I am committing to one year of participation in the State Bar in some capacity, such as committee, section or by special appointment and/or participation in a specialty bar association or community organization.
