Living Our Legacy – The 75th Annual State Bar of Arizona Convention

SEMINAR REGISTRATION FEE WAIVER

The State Bar of Arizona is offering a limited number of seminar registration fee waivers to assist attorneys who are financially unable to attend the Convention. The fee waiver applies to the continuing legal education programs only and entitles the recipient to attend any of the seminars during the Convention at no cost. Applications must be received by May 9 and will be reviewed by the Convention Committee. Click here to get your printable copy of the application.

EVENTS

Wednesday, June 18
Exhibits open at 8:30 a.m. and seminars begin at 8:50 a.m.

New this year is the Exhibitor Luncheon on Wednesday, June 18. Plan on attending this casual lunch, partially sponsored by the exhibitors, and learn about their products and services. Tickets are $15

Our first Showcase Program will take place Wednesday afternoon and the topic is Quality of Life and the Busy Lawyer featuring Isiah Zimmerman, Ph.D. Dr. Zimmerman is a national authority on stress management specific to bar and bench.

And the day cumulates with the Arizona Wine Tasting Event. The Convention will open with an Arizona Wine Tasting on Wednesday evening, June 18. Join us for an evening of great local wines, sounds from Turning Point and a stroll through the "Lawyer's Art Gallery." You will have a chance to win a Westin Heavenly Bed®. Tickets are $40

Thursday, June 19
Thursday morning features our second Showcase Program – Annual Ethics Game Show! An interactive seminar featuring surprise "celebrity" contestants who will need to determine which panelist is telling the correct ethics story! The contestants will play for portions of the studio audience and, of course, prizes will be awarded—as well as ethics credit.

Join us for a luncheon sponsored by the Arizona Foundation for Legal Services & Education. The Foundation will premiere their 30th anniversary video, Three Decades of Care and the Next 30 Years. Tickets are $55

That evening from 5-7:30 p.m. is a special reception. That State Bar and the Foundation are joining together to sponsor the party. The Foundation will recognize the Top 50 pro bono attorneys for 2007 and immediately after, the Swingtips will take the stage and the dancing will begin! Thanks to our Patrons, we are offering the party for FREE! Attendance is free, but RSVP is required.

Friday, June 20
The final Showcase Program will be Friday morning with Living Their Legacy – Legends in the Law. Celebrating our 75th anniversary, the State Bar will look back and walk in the footsteps of 11 legends who shaped our profession.

The State Bar of Arizona luncheon will honor award winners and will feature political humorist, Mark Russell. Perfect comic relief for an election year so take a break and laugh at lunch!. Tickets are $55

This is the last day to catch the exhibits. They will close at 4:30 p.m.

The Silent Auction is benefiting "YWCA - Tucson". It will be open all day so bring your credit cards and help out a very worthy cause.

Saturday, June 21
Volunteer at a Wills for Heroes program. You can learn how to do this on Friday afternoon (note the special seminar in the brochure) and then help our Arizona heroes on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

There will be 40 exhibitors anxious to showcase their new products and services that are designed to help you in your business and personal life.
