State Bar Legislation Progress

The Arizona Trust Code (HB 2806), Guardians and Conservators (HB 2836), and Uniform Arbitration Act (HB 2845) are moving through the legislature.  HB 2836 is scheduled for hearing in Senate Public Safety and Human Services for Thursday, April 3.  The others have been referred to Senate committees and await a hearing schedule.

The Wills for Hero's Program resolution (HCR 2060) proclaiming Wills for Hero's Day on June 4, 2008 passed unanimously and has been referred to Senate Judiciary.

HCR 2063 Election of Judges; Public Funding; Accountability has been retained on the House Committee of the Whole calendar.
