We are saddened by the loss of one of America's and Arizona's most influential lawyers, but we should take this opportunity to celebrate the great legal legacy of U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice William Rehnquist. He provided excellent leadership and had an enormous impact for the 33 years in which he sat on our nation's highest court. Throughout that time he has been a State Bar of Arizona member and it has been an honor to have one of our own at the highest level of our judicial system.
